About Me: “My interest lies in art design from various conception and bringing this imagination from paper into interactive experiences in virtual form. As the game’s concept originates from my initial idea developed through iteration and gradually refined as a team, it further deepened my passion to deliver a game that captivates the essence of what’s involved in building this world.

Curiosity about 3D art and the potential to create lively game worlds for characters to inhabit within brought me to pursue this course. My role as the art lead and 3D modeller for project games let me explore the development pipeline for finer details in these fields, ranging from design aspects in drafting stages to implementation that define the game’s atmosphere. Additionally, challenged me beyond in tackling the complexities of translate conceptual ideas into stylised visuals and aesthetic consistency across different ‘environments’.”

Name: Janle Chen

About Me: “This course has helped me broaden my knowledge of what makes a game exciting and enjoyable. My role in the development of this game covers a variety of areas. I fill in areas that are not covered by my partner, like coding, 3D modelling, environmental design, game mechanics and story development. Taking on these roles has allowed me to learn a few new skills that let me cover large areas in game development. This helps create a game that is uniquely special in style and aesthetics.

My studies here have really enabled me to create and learn all the different, complex and interesting aspects of game development. It was beneficial for someone like me who strives to create a project entirely my own. Improving on existing skills and gaining new ones has let me create small games, and I intend to build upon and further grow them to a professional level, producing games that can be enjoyed by everyone.”
