We will be making all the clue pages of included creatures and structural objects that will be in this prototype demo. Similar to our previous pages in the alpha builds, they would follow a similar layout format. Since Yao had previously updated the sketchbook page info with a new layout, the rest of the listed clues will firstly be organised similarly. Each of our “clue objects” are entitled with 2 names:

I’ve revisited our clues and created a table to visually refer them all as a checklist, whilst also revise and give each clue new phrases as their new title names for the pages. A portion of the clues in Homeland Prairie already exists as we gradually develop and build the initial prototype, they will be marked as done in green text, the rest that’s in black text will be clue pages we’ll make.

Page Content The remaining clue pages are placed in the layout format below, I tried to have the photo slot box be in different positions on the page rather than having them all follow one generally layout. This would hopefully add slight details to enhance the sketchbook written feel more.

As we will be implementing the key clues mechanic, as players collect and record new dex entries into their sketchbook, the descriptive information will have keywords that are highlighted as red clickable words. Once clicked, that word will get recorded as an “extended clue obtained” sentence which players collect info about this world in the key clues page. This mechanic can be revisited in detail below…
