For the new UI, I’ve followed similar layout and design as to our sketchbook to maintain a cohesive aesthetics. I’ve designed 2 versions for what possibly the book would appear in the game:
- Double Spread
- One Sided
Our book would serve its purpose as an album to store all the photos taken by players. This would let them able to store and preview their other taken pictures again other than the one recorded in the dex entry of the sketchbook.
Bin Button How the bin button is intentionally designed to function is by it being a toggle on the right side edge of the screen. When players click on it, it will open the option to delete the image by you clicking on the x buttons of that image. To close this option, click on the bin button again to toggle this option off.
Viewing Enlarge Photos We also want to be able to inspect the photos closer after clicking upon each photo, how this would function is by you select which image you wanted to look at. Then, it would open an enlarged version of that image at the centre of the screen. We’ll see on how to achieve this function after adjusting the current photobook mockup to this new one.
