Texture Painting Drawing the ****rocks were a small challenge as I struggled on which colours to use that would better match the brownish tone of the main body. Relying on the using different coloured strokes and smudging the lines is the direction I went with.

Face Emotes This is the first encounter I had to have the facial features not all drawn on one mesh, as UV projecting from the front view of this head mesh wouldn’t work as intended.

This led into taking a different approach to how a similar method is used for different head shapes. I’ve selected the areas that would have the eyes and mouth separately and unwrapped them together on the same image texture.

Rigging & Weight Painting What’s special about the weight painting process for this model is the rocky tail and the neck tuff. I gave them separate bones for subtle movements. For the neck tuff, the weight is roughly adjusted upon the basis of the automatic weights applied when parenting the mesh. For the tail, it specifically required the bone’s tip which leads to the next rock to have full weight so it doesn't deform the mesh when controlled.
