Mesh The child of the feathered saurus is another concept which I took forward for my modelling attempt in Semester One. As said in my reflection, I gave up on it previously due to it requiring much more focus in grasping the form from just my reference sketches. This time, I will complete this little being, as now I have the help of the adult version of this creature to also came up with ideas on the colour coating.

A lot of the questions I had from my reflection last semester are solved. Before, I thought it is necessary to combine all the different parts into a whole mesh in order for the rigging to work. That has proven to not be the case since I started modelling the first creature.

Many traits or components of this creature has taken previous models to piece together, such as the neck tuffs, and majority are more towards editing existing meshes like the head and body. By comparing beside my first attempt, there are changes as to how I decide to interpret different sections. Eyes are replaced with 2D texture and have the inner eye details to be drawn in texture painting.

Texture Painting Adding some extra adjustments on the body, especially making changes on the back patterns and tail feathers.
